When kids are young, sometimes you just can't believe the choices they make. Like the time my son decided he'd be a barber when he grew up and decided to practice on his little sister and took a chunk of hair out of the back of her head and a rather large snip from her bangs... what was he thinking!Â

The questions never end...

I remember very well those days when question after question from my little ones tried my patience. My answer to one question wasÂ always followed by the proverbial 'why?'Â and then 'why?' again followed by another 'why?'Â I'm sure all moms know the drill.

Strange that needing to sign a Baby Shower card could evoke such emotion. They leave, they fall apart...

I've been thinking that maybe this year I'm going to pass on my tradition of Easter baskets full of candy coated eggs, a spring treat and some plastic eggs stuffed with a bit of cash, for my kids ... this year instead the celebration package might just include, Vitamin C, heating pads, Kleenex, band-aids and ibuprofen.Â Â
