7 Trends in Baby Naming

As I've probably said here before, one of the difficulties in naming your child is that many times you don't spend a lot of time with same-age children or parents of infants and preschoolers prior to getting pregnant.   You dont' realize that Aidan is common for both boys and girls until your own is named.  I didn't know Isabella was hugely popular when I recommended it for a little one!  I had never met one in real life, but remember that from the very first time I saw the name Isabella Rossellini, I fell in love with it.  I didn't use it myself, but the first person I suggested it to LOVED it - and it's at #2!

You Can't Call It "It" has listed "The 7 Deadly Trends" - deadly just meaning overused.  If you would prefer for your little one not to have a super popular name it behooves you to check these trends, which abbreviated are:  Mick ,  Surnames,  Aidan, Ella, K , Substytutes, and Geography.

What is helpful is that she offers suggestions under each category - what a relief, not just criticism, but helpful ideashttp://youcantcallitit.com/7-deadly-trends/
