It's Tuesday and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with myself once the kids are in bed. Sure, I could clean, answer e-mails that have been stacking up, pay bills, blah blah. BORING.

As of late, my Tuesday evenings have been spent watching Lost and quite frankly, scratching my head and yelling, "What? I don't get it!" half of the time.

But that's over now. And I'm sad...and obsessed...and lost.

I watched the series finale on Sunday.

And then I re-watched the last 30 minutes after watching the cast on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

And then I re-watched the last 30 minutes before jetting out the door Monday morning.

AND then I watched the whole thing again last night with Doug.

You may call me crazy.

I loved the finale and loved the series, although there were times when love/hate would more aptly describe my relationship with the show.

I've been talking to anyone who will listen, including my poor running buddy who had to listen to it for nearly 7 miles this morning.

I pushed through the frustration, irritations and confusion for the past six years. Several times I thought about giving up but I didn't. I stuck with it.

And although I'm in the minority, I think the writers nailed it. The details of the Man in Black, polar bears and the Dharma Initiative are just that, details. If you watched the finale to find out those answers, then you probably were disapointed and I think you missed the point. The story wasn't the island. The story was the people on the island.

No, all the questions weren't answered. But isn't that life? Ultimately, the show and the stories boiled down to the characters and their relationships. And just like life, that's what matters, the people in your life and the relationships you build.

Adios, Lost, it's been one hell of a ride.
