We all know the hardest job in the world is being a mom. Whether you are burping a colicky baby or moving your young adult into their first apartment, a mom's work is never done. We here at modmoms believe YOU deserve a little pampering!
Local spa, A Thousand Cranes is partnering with Modmomsclub to give you a well deserved "Day of Wellness". Your day will include a facial, massage, manicure, pedicure and lunch.

When I read the Modesto Bee and saw the giveaway, I immediately thought of my daughter. She is the best mom in the whole world, giving everything in her for her children. She would love this spa treat!!

It's hard to take time to pamper yourself with a husband and kids at home. This would be a wonderful opportunity to take time to relax and not feel too guilty about it.

A mother's job is never-ending. We wake up in our sleep concerned about everything & anything around us. Sometimes it's hard to find the time to just relax, think about ourselves(yeah right!!), no one to ask you where's this or what's there to eat. Hopefully all the moms who don't win will have someone do something nice or say something nice. It's the small things that mean the most.
The crane is the symbol of good health, in Asian cultures. A Thousand Cranes must make for a very healthy day!
Remember moms...always find just a few minutes to give to yourself each day, no matter how busy you are...if you feel too busy for such a thing, think of this:
Just close your eyes, and think of the things that make you happy. Simple things, like butterflies, finding a seashell, the warm sun on your back...it's amazing how a simple, quick practice like this can melt away the stress!
ronika carrillo I wk hard 3am till 1pm get 5 hrs a sleep a day and always have sum thing to take care of its a doc apt ,or bills to pay etc. my day dont end till 9pm kinda tired. was just telling my mom i wish i could have a day 4 my self. then i seen this ad in the news paper n i though that what i need.. good luck ladies at winning the prize....pick me lolololololol

Wow an actual girl day! What’s that? I can't even remember what it is like to have a girl day let alone a day of pampering at the spa? I am the proud mother of 3 teenage boys ages 19, 16, & 13. Pampering & spa are words I don't think have ever been used in our home. I said to my youngest son "it would be great to have a day of pampering". He replied "Why would you want to changes diapers all day?" Between my sons and all their friends I forget there is life beyond the sweaty socks, jock straps, and dirty rooms and that's just the beginning of the list. I think I would be in absolute heaven winning this. I've never actually won anything BUT I did get a few moments of dreaming about it I guess that will have to do for now.
