My friend Susan Lilly, who happens to work for the Stanislaus County Library, alerted me to a couple of really good parenting resources that are available at the library.

* The First 5 New Parent Kits are available for pickup at the library.  They include a parenting guide, Healthy Families and Poison Control info as well as a book for your baby. 

* Also, the library just added a parenting area in the children's library.  I have browsed the bookshelf myself and there are a ton of great books on the shelf offering parents advice and guidance on every topic imaginable.

Everyone should take advantage of these great resources!  And best of all they are FREE!
