I have mentioned before how much Nicholas liked to throw things in the trash can. Turns out, he pretty much just likes to put things away. Of course, he has a different idea of where things belong than we do.

Movie cover? That goes in the dog food bin.

Dad's deodorant? The toilet (might be best not to mention that one to said dad).

Books? Clothes hamper.

Bottle of milk? That one, obviously, goes in the kitchen cupboard.

I can't remember the last time the phone rang and we didn't have to hunt through the house to find it. The other day, I opened a drawer in the kitchen to get a bag and came across one of the little guys from Nicholas' airplane. And my husband found a mitten in the bathtub.  It's like a scavenger hunt for things we already own.

So if you come to our house, don't be surprised if your keys are gone when you get up to leave. They're probably in the pantry.
