Its not too late to vaccinate!

January is still an excellent time to have a flu vaccine.  The peak season for flu begins in February.  This is especially important for families who have a baby 6 months of age or younger, or are expecting a baby in the next 4 months.  Since babies under 6 months of age cannot get the vaccine they are best protected by having the family around them vaccinated.  If you are pregnant consult with you prenatal care provider.  Public Health at 820 Scenic Drive, Modesto has vaccine for everyone 6 months of age and older, including pregnant women. The cost is $10 for children and $20 for adults.  MediCal and Medicare accepted. No one will be turned away due to inability to pay.  We are open Monday-Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8-11 and 1-4.
