WHEW! I made it, the nest is empty. 

The kids have flown the coop, jumped ship, headed west (actually north and south), and I've made it to the other side of motherhood.  And although my hair is mostly gray, I think I still do have most of my sanity!

Reaching the empty nest, I've learned has nothing to do with leaving motherhood behind.  Although they've left the house (and mind you left quite a bit of themselves behind, anyone need graduation robes?) they still call it home, still want their room to display their momentos and still want your washing machine to be in working order!

It's here on the pages of this blog, where my adventure in being the mom of twenty-somethings will play out, come along for the ride, I could use the best insite, including when do I finally take down the high school pennant!
