This month's featured mom is Priscilla Ward.

Modmomsclub: Tell us about yourself.

Priscilla Ward: I'm a Modesto native and mother of three: Natalie, 10 yrs.; Owen, 9 yrs and Emerson, 5 yrs. I was raised in Modesto by a close-knit family.  I'm a graduate of Beyer High, Cottey College and UC Santa Barbara. I've been married for 18 1/2 years to my husband, Gary.  After living in the Bay Area for a few years, we settled her in Modesto near both sides of our family. Following the birth of our second child, I became a SAHM.

MMC: What's your favorite family place? 

PW: The Carmel/Monterey Bay area.

MMC: What's your favorite place for yourself?

PW: Home.

MCC: What's your favorite ritual with the kids? 

PW: Taking a long walk in our neighborhood.

MMC: What did you eat for dinner last night?  

PW: Barbequed hamburgers.

MMC: Can you share the recipe? 

PW: I would love to share the recipe except it's not mine. The recipe for the perfect burger belongs to my husband as this is one of the only things our kids beg Dad to cook for them.  Sorry!

MMC: What’s on your iPod?

PW: I have some Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seger, Patsy Cline, Eagles, Kenny Chesney and Taylor Swift.

MMC: What is your favorite TV show?

PW: Law & Order SVU

MMC: Finish this sentence" My kids hate it when I…”

PW: tell them to go to bed!
