I can't believe how long it's been since I have posted to my blog. The only excuse I can offer up is that I have been enjoying getting to know my new granddaughter. Chloe Kathleen Aiello joined our family in late March and she has completely captured my heart!

Nope, she doesn't really smile (except for that occassional gas pain) and nope she isn't ready for a play day at the park and nope she doesn't really stay awake for more than about 20 minutes at a time, but I am amazed, enamored and delighted by her.

It's hard to believe that my son who managed to wreck two cars, drew in permanent marker on the neighbors wall, climbed into the fireplace and covered himself from head to toe with soot, cut his sisters hair when she was 2 and smashed a hallway mirror with a croquet mallet had a part in making something so beautiful, but he did...

And now we get to love him, embrace him and support him in his newest role... Daddy!
