I have found a lot of useful information from this platform. I must say that sharing your thoughts with one another is an easy way to relax yourself in the daily hectic routines. Each time a description of the change, there are always lots of talk about it anywhere.ccda training| itil v3 foundation| scjp certification| mcsa certification| Certified Ethical Hacker| Oracle training| Cisco training| ccsp certification| These are not exempt. I mean one must be up to date with the day to day change in the environment and in the technology as well. In my personal opinion, the world is turning into a global village and now you can get a lot of required information by just a click while sitting where ever you are.
Budgeting is a big issue around my house. I’ve found that I “want” a whole lot more then I “need” It’s a hard lesson to learn but I’m working on it. We’ve looked at everything that we possibly can so that we can cut back our spending. Coupons are a MUST!!! Normally you can go right to the manufactures website and get discounts on things that you had already planned to purchase. We eat a lot of meals at home. We’ve agreed that the only time that we eat out is if we have a coupon, gift card or it’s a “kids eat free” night. Every little bit counts. Lucky I have a little boy and I can cut his hair myself. No more salon or salon products for me. One of the other things that I have found that has really helped is packing our lunches. I make sure that I have options at work and it keeps me from wanting to hit up the closet place to me when hunger strikes at work.
I know that I can do more. Its all a work in progress

Fortunatley we haven't had to cut back much, but since I am always looking for a bargain anyways, I do have some tips! Get that sunday paper out and clip those coupons!! You would be suprised how many coupons you will use for everyday things. I love my coupons =) And for you newer moms like myself, sign up online at sites like Pampers, Huggies, Similac...etc. I get coupons about every month that save money on diapers, wipes, bath stuff. And Babies R Us always has coupons going on. Since I go there so much, I'm constantly getting coupons! The nice thing is that you can use the Babies R Us coupons for diapers along with regular coupons for extra savings.

My hubby and I have decided to cloth diaper our two in diapers. It cost a lttle to get started but now we have pleanty diapers and don't have to buy disposables anymore which saves us about $85.00 per month! Cloth diapering is not what it used to be. If anyone is interested in details please contact me, I've become a pro(hehehe). We also don't eat out as much and I don't go on my shopping outings nearly as much. All in all I think it is a good thing for our family becasue we have learned that we didn't need everythingt that we thought we did.
We have 5 kids so I have been working on the food budget. I have been doing a monthly meal plan and buying accordingly. We don't travel that much because my 1 yo twins scream if we are in the car longer than 10 minutes LOL so I guess they are saving us money!
With gas being so high, unforturnately my husband and I have decided that we have to see eachother less, since he's a marine in SoCal. Which is not any fun! And my trips to town I have dropped down to 2 times a week instead of 4 or 5. It's nice staying home, just wish I was in walking distance to some shopping centers or parks.
we've cut back too. MUCH less eating out, and we shaved off most the "movie channels" etc on DirecTV. Those kinds of things are pretty easy to do without once you whack them, ha ha.
I've also completely stopped purchasing scrapbooking supplies (a HUGE addiction for me) because I truly DO have enough "stuff" to scrap for the rest of my life without purchasing more. I never realized how much I spent on that stuff, until I started looking at my receipts, hee hee.
With the economy the way it is, this is the perfect time for us all to find a hobby we can enjoy as a family--for us, it's geocaching. Yes, you need a GPS and yes, you have to put gas in your car to get where you're going, but there are caches ALL OVER modesto and the surrounding area, so you don't have to go far. Also, you can do it with any number of people. My kids and I have been having a blast doing it, and on more than one occasion, have spent an ENTIRE weekend day "outside" with zero complaining!
Best wishes to everyone!
I have certainly made more of a effort in deciding if things that I want to buy is something that I need rightthisminute! Usually just thinking that I can live without it for another week will keep me from buying it. =)
My biggest problem is always wanting to go-go-go on my days off. It is really hard to just stay home - but has gotten easier with my to-do lists of cleaning and organizing.
One way that we've cut back is in regards to the price of gas. We have an SUV that use to be the go everywhere vehicle for us, because it was roomy and more comfortable. These days my little compact car is now our runabout, traveling mode of transportation. You'd be surprised at how comfortable it's become since we don't have to visit the gas station as often!
Just about everyone I know is struggling right now, including us. I've cut back on a lot of my personal luxuries....Salon shampoo and conditioner, Estee Lauder makeup, pedicures, etc. I'm a confessed shopaholic, so that's been tough for me, so I just stay away from the mall completely. My girl has enough clothes to last her til next year.
We also eat at home more often, now. I'm getting better at planning meals, and buying groceries on sale.
Now if I could just figure out how to stop spending money at Target.
