Question of the Week: No Breastfeeding Photos
Facebook set off a debate when they deemed photos of a mother breast feeding as crossing-the-line. What do you think?

So you refer breasts as "Your Stuff" rather than for what their God given purpose is, mothering infants. So you say it's O.K. to mother, to nourish your baby, only if it is "discrete" . Who taught you to believe this way? Somehow fear of the human form was introduced to you and it stuck. Ugh !
It's posts like this one that make people NOT want to participate in these forums.
When the moderators post a question asking for your opinion, that's all they want. Nobody wants to be attacked for actually posting the opinion that was requested. Why can't you state your opinion on breastfeeding and/or related photos, without judging another member? This is just like the assault I received for posting an opinion in a different forum, and I think it's out of line.
Wow, no one has commented on this yet. Maybe people are afraid of starting a debate? I'll share my opinion, but it's just that. My opinion.
I have no problem with Women breasfeeding in public, as long as they're discreet about it. There's a way to do it without showing the world your "stuff".
While I have no idea why anyone would want to post pics of themselves breastfeeding on their facebook page, I think it's absurd to consider it obscene.
