There ain't nothing a happy meal can't help
What happens when a preschooler gets tangled up with a wall?
This happens (queezy people look away):
"
Luckily my husband dealt with this. Otherwise, I very well could have fainted.
Lots of tears, 5 staples and 8 needles to the head later, she appears to be on the mend. Frankly, I'm not sure what put her on the path to recovery - the pain meds kicking in or the trip to McDonalds and the Hello Kitty watch that she got in her meal.
And that my friends, pretty much sums up my week. And it's only Tuesday!

Poor thing, glad she's feeling better, nothing like wrestling with your sister to make you forget the staples in your head! What a trooper she is! And you and Doug too!
A Hello Kitty watch - that's awesome! Now banging my head into a wall so maybe you'll get me one, too. Hello Kitty goes back so far I liked her when I was a kid.
OMGosh that gave me the heebie jeebies just looking at the picture! Glad she's on the upswing!
As a post-script: I just yelled at Maddie to get off her sister and stop wrestling (for obvious reasons). I guess she's feeling OK.
Thanks for the wishes. I swear, I think she handled it better than her dad and I. Maybe we should have ordered Happy Meals for ourselves...
Ow! There's a reason I didn't go into the medical field - I'm a wimp when it comes to telling a crying child to stay still and calm for a procedure. I hope she gets well soon, and that your nerves mend soon too!
poor sweet girl! i feel her pain...truly. i had 6 stitches like that put in my head when i was a little girl. thank goodness they have happy meals these days.
