Preschool

When is a good age to start your child in preschool?? Is there any advantage to starting them earlier then later? My son is going to be 3 and is eligible to start preschool next year. I'm thinking about starting him off part-time and then working into full-time.

Dora and Diego are coming!

The Stanislaus County Fair just announced that Dora and Diego are coming to the fair!  They arrive on August 6 just in time for Kids Free Night at the fair.  They'll be on the Charter Stage.  Mark your calendars!

Family Movie Nights

I was flipping through my summer activity guide The City of Modesto puts out and they are again offering family and teen movie nights. It's a great cheap and easy way to get out of the house with your kids. We usually pop our own popcorn, grab a blanket, pack a cooler and head on down to the park for some fun.  The kids love it and it watching a movie outside is much more fun than sitting your living room.
